This 4-day midrange lodge safari includes 2 nights in the Serengeti, known for big cats and stunning views, and a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater. The well-paced itinerary allows time for wildlife viewing and relaxation with minimal driving. Ideal for anniversaries, the tour includes drinks (soda, beer, champagne) during game drives only, unlimited water, a celebration cake, and a Maasai shuka gift to make your trip extra special.

Day 1: Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

Your journey begins with a hotel pick-up, followed by a flight from Zanzibar Airport to the Serengeti airstrip. Arriving in the Serengeti in the late morning, you'll embark on a series of game drives, exploring the wildlife-rich landscapes until the afternoon. Afterward, you'll return to the lodge for a satisfying lunch before setting out on another exciting game drive, culminating in the breathtaking spectacle of a Serengeti sunset. This day promises an immersive safari experience in one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, your day in the Serengeti continues with more exhilarating game drives. You have the flexibility to choose between a full-day game drive, allowing you to maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities, or you can split the day into morning and evening sessions. The choice is yours, catering to both those seeking a leisurely afternoon and those eager to explore the wilderness throughout the day. Enjoy the freedom to tailor your safari experience to your preferences.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

After a satisfying breakfast, you'll set out for another round of thrilling game drives, exploring different areas of the Serengeti. As the day progresses, you'll return to the lodge for a delicious lunch. Post-lunch, you'll complete your check-out procedures and commence your journey back towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Upon arrival at Farm of Dreams Lodge, you'll check in and enjoy a hearty dinner. With the excitement of an early morning crater descent ahead, you'll retire early to ensure you're well-rested and ready for the adventure that awaits in the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

After a nourishing breakfast, you'll embark on a thrilling descent into the Ngorongoro Crater in search of the elusive black rhino, known as one of the most challenging animals to spot in the wild. The crater, often referred to as Africa's version of "Noah's Ark", is home to a wide array of wildlife, including elephants, hyenas, big cats, rhinos, and many more fascinating creatures.

Amidst this remarkable landscape, you'll have the opportunity to observe these magnificent animals in their natural habitat. As the day progresses, you'll pause for a relaxing lunch break at Hippo Lake, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the crater.

In the afternoon, another exciting game drive awaits as you ascend back to the crater rim. Later, you'll return to your lodge to complete check-out procedures. From there, you'll make your way to Arusha airport, where you'll catch an afternoon flight back to Zanzibar, bringing your incredible safari adventure to a close.
