After lunch, proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya's most renowned game destination, famous for its endless grasslands, teeming wildlife, and the Great Migration. Enjoy your first thrilling afternoon game drive, where you get to view elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and who knows, perhaps leopards too. The Mara has the "Big Five" and some of Africa's best year-round wildlife viewing. In the evening, check in to the upscale Elewana Sand River Masai Mara Camp, which is located along serene Sand River with a colonial ambiance and exceptional service. You can:
Take a Maasai village visit for a cultural outing. Interact with the local people, gain an insight into their way of life, dance, and handicraft. Your driver-guide will arrange for the same on request.
Or opt for a sunrise hot air balloon safari (optional, to be pre-booked). Glide silently across the savannah and view wildlife below, with a champagne breakfast afterwards in the bush.
